Landfill

By volume, River Birch is the largest Subtitle D landfill in Louisiana. Our operations include the latest advances in landfill technology for the protection of our surrounding ecosystems. We offer assurance that all of our disposal technologies meet or exceed local, state and federal regulations.

River Birch, LLC (Type I & II Landfill)

River Birch, LLC’s Subtitle D Landfill is permitted to accept the following

nonhazardous wastes:

  • Municipal Wastes

  • Commercial Wastes

  • Industrial Wastes

  • Exploration & Production Waste

  • Treated Lumber

  • Spent Blast Media

  • RCRA Empty Containers

  • Friable Asbestos

  • Nonfriable Asbestos

  • Solid Wastes

  • Sludges

  • Liquid Wastes

We are permitted to accept waste from the following Louisiana Parishes: Jefferson, Orleans, Lafourche, Terrebonne, Assumption, St. Mary, St. Martin, St. Charles, St. John, St. James, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Plaquemines

Hwy. 90, LLC (Type III Construction & Demolition Debris Landfill)

Hwy. 90, LLC, River Birch’s Construction and Demolition Landfill, accepts

the following noncontaminated wastes:

  • Construction Debris

  • Demolition Debris

  • Metal

  • Concrete

  • Brick

  • Asphalt

  • Roofing Materials

  • Floor Tiles

  • Vegetative Debris

  • Hurricane Debris
