River Birch maximizes sustainability by channeling landfill gas to its on-site renewable natural gas (RNG) plant, the second-largest and most efficient in the U.S. Operating at 99.5% efficiency, the plant processes and cleans the gas to meet interstate pipeline natural gas standards. Once purified, the gas is supplied to partners like Atmos and BP, contributing to a cleaner energy solution. This high-efficiency operation plays a key role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting renewable energy initiatives.
